RobotTheater focuses on building the new cooperation models between humanities and science departments in
developing new and innovative projects that will enhance knowledge sharing and decrease the gender gap since robotics is usually associated with male dominance while humanities and drama are perceived as the female expertise field. This project will equip professionals with innovative hands-on STEAM activities which blend drama techniques,
storytelling, coding and robotics.

Main objective of the RobotTheater is to increase interest in robotics and drama, develop innovative learning material and resources, build the capacity of professionals and enhance mutual understanding and cooperation between humanities and robotics. Despite the remarkable progress in this field, the scope and impact of robot-based activities have primarily focused on the teaching of technical school subjects (i.e., computer science, mathematics, and physics). This approach provides a multisensory learning environment where professionals can learn through representations or simulations of ideas, events, stories, phenomena, or processes using multiple robot actors (robotic hands, humanoid robots etc…). Based on the drama process project proposes steps to create and perform plays with robot actors in an educational context and discuss different alternatives for its implementation. Partners in this project will develop a Comprehensive Guide which will include the latest strategies and methodologies from both science fields and easy-to implement steps in the creative process. RobotTheater includes activities which will address issues as: How do we organize a collaboration between theater and robots, how do we stage robots?
