By using digital tools, culture and the production of creative goods can find new forms of expression, improve cultural experiences (e.g. museums and art galleries) and give rise to new forms of cooperation between artists, curators and audiences.

The purpose of this project is to further develop an elevate an existing prototype to a professional level for use in museums and other institutions. The innovative digital collection search tool will enable participatory engagement with large digital collections and create new insights and connections across digital boundaries, creating a new experience that goes beyond virtual exhibitions. Users will be empowered to take ownership of this digital collection. The tool will be used in various applications in the context of digital databases, online curation and innovations in presentation methods.
