DigitalBigScreen international video festival has been held by the Delavski dom Trbovlje since 2010, with annual program additions. The festival is dedicated to showing video works on a large cinema screen.
In 2018, the festival was launched with an updated program featuring new video display technology. Now creators can present 360-degree videos. In this type of video, a video is created in a real or virtual environment and is recorded with a multi-directional camera or a set of cameras so that the viewer’s gaze can be directed in all directions. Video works are presentedusing virtual glasses. During playback, the viewer controls the viewing direction, as in a panorama.
